On the second episode of Fight Magazine’s Rabbit Punch Radio, mixed martial arts journalist Danny Acosta and professional comedian Kris Tinkle (USO Tour, opened for Zach Galifinakis, Dave Chappelle) recount parallel weekend insanity where Acosta loses a fight with tequila and Tinkle trips in front of celebrity goddess Jennifer Love Hewitt in front of a packed comedy club. American Kickboxing Academy middleweight Nate James hangs out in-studio to discuss his training with top fighters like Mike Swick, Jon Fitch and Josh Koscheck as well as his upcoming move to 170-pounds in what Tinkle dubs the “American Welterweight Academy.” The former Oklahoma University wrestler discusses teammate Luke Rockhold’s recent Strikeforce win and his ties to Bobby Lashley, Evan Tanner and Frank Trigg. Sleeping in a ring and working at a bikini bar, James highlights some sacrifices and perks in the quest to make it in mixed martial arts.
